Stevedoring Service

An integral loading system is offered, which includes the unloading, loading, shipping, storage, customs, inventory control and delivery to your warehouses. Today the port moves, among other products, metallic copper, iron and/or steel, loads in sacks that are transferred with the maneuvering of the ship and/or crane of the port.
The load is received or delivered by trucks and/or trains.

The port offers stabilized flat areas for the storage of the load in general, next to its facilities and to the primary customs zone.

The company can offer services from the transfer of the load from the ship to the pier or vice versa, to a complete service that starts with the unloading of the ship and finishes with the load delivered in the warehouses of the client, with all the advantages of a coordinated delivery, inventory control and other services requested according to the needs of the client.

Puerto Ventanas S.A. is experienced in loading and unloading, especially of loose products since 1965, where the movement of loose minerals, liquids and loads in general stand out.


Storage

We offer our service of storage in warehouses and flat areas for all kinds of goods. For this purpose, we count with approximately more than 100 hectares, for our own investment or our clients’, with swift and paved accesses. Customs warehouse (8 hectares) with warehouses for clean loose goods, tanks for chemical products and extensive storage yards for load in general, which allow storing goods for three months. Ground Transport. We offer ground and train transport services, since we are linked to an excellent train and road network which allows us to go anywhere in the country and abroad. Service to the Ships

We give service to national and international ship owners and Operating companies, in relation to grub and other services in a direct way or with our Allied company Agencia Marítima Aconcagua (AGMAC).

Tugging Service

We offer the service of tugging for the assistance of ships in the port.


Bunkering Service

A bunkering terminal is offered (fuel for ships), which is unique in the entire coast of the South Pacific, similar to the most efficient terminals of the world, which can supply fuel to the ships mooring in Ventanas in a direct way by means of loading manifolds located in each site of the port and by barges to ships that may require it outside the pier. The loading speed will be greater and with competitive prices at a worldwide level, which makes PUERTO VENTANAS S.A. THE MOST EFFICIENT BUNKERING TERMINAL OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC.

These facilities are specially designed and built for the handling and preparation of marine fuels according to the norms ISO 8217 from 1996 and to the Chilean norm 2286 from 1997 and under a strict quality control.
